Festo SMTO-4U-PS-K-LED-24 is a round, magneto‑inductive proximity sensor for non‑contact piston position detection on pneumatic cylinders with a T‑slot. The 3‑wire PNP output provides a standard N/O switching signal (N/O contact) for direct connection to a PLC digital input. A 2.5 m PVC cable with open end enables flexible wiring and integration into control cabinets with the IP67 enclosure offering reliable sealing against dust and moisture ingress. A yellow LED visual status indicator located on the sensor body aids quick commissioning and diagnostics.
Applications:
-
End‑position detection on pneumatic T‑slot cylinders (Festo DSNU, DNC, ADN series)
-
Pick‑and‑place systems and material handling equipment
-
Gripper position feedback in assembly and packaging machinery
-
Machine automation requiring non‑contact magnetic sensing
Core Specifications:
-
