We are committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring a fair and transparent return process. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through PLC ERA, a trading brand operated by KERNAL AUTOMATION CO., LIMITED.
2. Return Timeframe
You must ship the item back to us so that it is received by us within 30 days of your receipt of the item.
3. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet one of the following conditions:

Defective or Damaged: The product is defective, malfunctioning, or arrived physically damaged.

Incorrect or Incomplete Shipment: You received an item that does not match your order, or parts are missing.

Change of Mind (Unopened Only): You changed your mind, and the product is unused, in its original sealed packaging, with all tags and accessories included.
Important Note for Industrial Products: We understand that testing is often required to verify functionality for industrial automation products. Therefore, opened products are eligible for return only if they are confirmed defective or not as described after inspection. Refunds may be refused if return conditions are not met. Please contact our support team before returning any opened or tested items.
Non-Returnable Items:

Specially customized or programmed items (clearly marked as such before purchase).

Products damaged due to misuse, accident, improper installation, or operation outside specified parameters.

Software or digital products where the license key has been activated.
4. Return Process
Step 1: Contact Us
To start a return, please contact our customer service team at info@plcera.com with your order number and reason for return. For defective items, description or evidence of the issue is required.
Step 2: Obtain Authorization & Instructions
After reviewing your request, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Step 3: Ship the Item Back
Please securely pack the item, preferably in its original packaging, and include the RMA number. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Step 4: Inspection & Refund
Once we receive and inspect the returned item (typically within 5 business days), we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed as outlined in Section 6.
5. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error (such as a defective item, wrong product shipped, or confirmed shipping damage), we will cover the return shipping costs.Customer Responsibility:
If the return is due to a customer selection error (for example, ordering an incorrect model) and the product is unopened, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. These costs may be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Refunds
Method: All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Timing: After we approve your return, please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider’s policies and may take an additional 3-10 business days.
7. Reporting Damage in Transit
If you notice visible damage to the shipping box upon delivery, please take photos of the box and contact us within 14 days to file a carrier claim and arrange for a replacement or refund.
