The Original New ABB TU830V1 (3BSE013234R1) is an extended module termination unit (MTU) for the ABB S800 I/O system, designed to provide a complete installation solution for I/O modules using 3-wire connections, fuses, and field power distribution. As a passive unit, it serves as the physical interface between field devices and S800 I/O modules, distributing ModuleBus signals to the connected I/O module and to the next MTU in a daisy‑chain configuration. The TU830V1 supports up to 16 I/O channels with two individually isolated process voltage groups, each protected by a 6.3 A fuse. It features an extended 2 × 16 terminal layout, mechanical keying with 36 configuration combinations to prevent incorrect I/O module insertion, and DIN rail mounting with a latching device for grounding. Designed for demanding industrial environments, it is widely used in ABB 800xA, Advant OCS, and Compact Product Suite environments.
