The Original New ABB CI801 3BSE022366R1 is a PROFIBUS DP-V1 fieldbus communication interface (FCI) module for the ABB S800 I/O system. It enables seamless integration of S800 I/O modules with PROFIBUS DP-V1 networks, allowing up to 24 I/O modules to be controlled remotely via a single fieldbus connection. The CI801 supports Hot Configuration In Run (HCIR), HART pass-through, OSP (Output State Preset) handling, and supervisory functions of the I/O ModuleBus. Designed for distributed and modular process I/O applications, this module is used with ABB's 800xA and Freelance DCS systems, as well as third-party PLCs supporting PROFIBUS DP-V1.
