The Original New Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC POINT I/O Extension Power Module is a 24V DC power/bus extension module designed to expand the power capacity of POINT I/O distributed I/O systems. It provides additional backplane (POINTBus) current and field power to downstream I/O modules, enabling larger system configurations beyond the capacity of the communication adapter alone. Installed between I/O modules in the 1734 system, it breaks the field power bus and creates a new power segment for modules to the right.
