1734-FPD POINT I/O Field Power Distributor Module AC/DC 10A | Allen-Bradley

The Original New Allen-Bradley 1734-FPD POINT I/O Field Power Distributor Module is a passive power distribution device designed to create new field power buses within a POINT I/O system. It breaks the field power distribution at the module location and changes the field power source for I/O modules to the right, enabling logical or functional partitioning of low-channel count, high I/O-mix applications. The module passes through all POINT I/O backplane signals but does not provide additional POINTBus backplane power. Accepting a broad range of AC/DC voltage inputs (5–125V DC and 24–240V AC), it allows users to create new DC or AC power buses for downstream I/O modules.

Installation Notes:

• Module slides together with adjacent POINT I/O modules for easy installation and uninstallation

• To create a new AC or DC power bus, connect external power supply to the FP terminals (+ and –) on the removable terminal block

• Daisy-chain common and power connections from adapter, 1734-FPD, or 1734-EP24DC

• Module does not provide additional POINTBus backplane power; POINTBus signals pass through only

• For pollution degree 2 industrial environment, overvoltage category II applications, at altitudes up to 2000 m without derating
