The Original New Allen-Bradley 1769-AENTR CompactLogix EtherNet/IP Adapter is a dual-port communication module that connects CompactLogix controllers to 1769 Compact I/O™ modules over EtherNet/IP networks. Featuring an embedded two-port Ethernet switch, this adapter supports Linear, Star, and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies, enabling flexible network architectures. It allows CompactLogix customers to reuse their existing 1769 I/O when migrating to next-generation CompactLogix controllers, protecting the investment in 1769 I/O. The adapter provides up to 16 axes of Integrated Motion over EtherNet/IP and supports SIL 3, PLe integrity (with L4xS controllers).
Core Engineering Highlights:
Dual 10/100 Mbps EtherNet/IP ports with embedded switch | Device Level Ring (DLR), Linear, Star topologies | 128 EtherNet/IP connections + 96 TCP/IP connections | 10,000 packets per second I/O rate | 500 mA @ 5.2V DC backplane current | 50V continuous isolation (tested 710V DC for 60s) | Up to 16 axes Integrated Motion over EtherNet/IP
