The Original New Allen-Bradley 1769-ECR Right End Cap is a required accessory for CompactLogix 1769 system assemblies. Installed at the right side of the last module in a CompactLogix I/O bank, it functions as a bus terminator for the FlexBus circuitry, signaling the end of the assembly and ensuring proper communication across the backplane. This module is essential to qualify the CompactLogix configuration. Included with 1769-L23x controller packages, the 1769-ECR is also required for 1769-L3x modular systems, MicroLogix 1500 expansion assemblies, and systems with 1769-ADN DeviceNet or 1769-AENTR EtherNet/IP adapters.
