Overview
The Festo SE-3/8-B (part number 9687) is a high-performance threaded quick exhaust valve from the SE series, designed to significantly increase the piston speed of single-acting and double-acting pneumatic cylinders on the return stroke. By allowing exhaust air to be released directly to the atmosphere through a large cross-section, this valve bypasses the slower path through the control valve, enabling much faster cylinder cycling.
