The Original New Mitsubishi FX2N-4AD is a 4-channel analog input special function block for the MELSEC-F FX series PLC system, designed to convert analog signals from sensors and transmitters into high-resolution digital values for process monitoring and control. Each of the 4 channels can be independently configured for voltage (–10 to +10V DC) or current (–20 to +20mA DC, 4 to 20mA DC) via user wiring. The module features 12-bit signed conversion resolution, photocoupler isolation between analog and digital circuits, and a buffer memory (BFM) architecture with 32 registers for data exchange via FROM/TO instructions. This product is discontinued and available as a spare part for maintaining existing FX2N-based systems. For new installations, the recommended replacement is the FX3U-4AD.

Provides 15-bit + sign resolution (voltage: 0.32 mV, –10 to +10V → –32,000 to +32,000; current: 1.25 µA for –20 to +20mA, 1 µA for 4 to 20mA). Compatible with FX3G, FX3GE, FX3GC, FX3U, FX3UC series PLCs. Buffer memory addresses differ from FX2N-4AD; program migration is required.
