Motor Compatibility
-
Compatible with Mitsubishi HG‑KR series (low inertia), HG‑MR series (medium inertia), and other MELSERVO‑J4 compatible servo motors
-
Recommended matching motor: HG‑KR43J (400 W, 22‑bit absolute encoder)
System Integration
-
This amplifier belongs to the Mitsubishi Electric MELSERVO‑J4 series.
-
The universal interface supports pulse train commands (differential line driver or open‑collector) and analog voltage commands.
-
USB port (mini‑B) connects directly to a PC for parameter setting, tuning, and diagnostics using MR Configurator2 software.
-
RS‑422 serial communication enables 1: n connection of up to 32 axes to a host controller, simplifying multi‑axis system integration.
-
In absolute encoder mode, an external battery (MR‑BAT6V1SET) is required for position retention during power‑off.
-
For detailed installation, wiring, connector pinout, and parameter settings, refer to the MR‑J4‑A Instruction Manual.
