The Original New Omron CJ1W-ETN21 is an Ethernet unit for the SYSMAC CJ series programmable logic controller (PLC) platform, designed to connect production sites to information networks via 100Base-TX or 10Base-T Ethernet. Equipped with a single RJ45 socket, it supports TCP/IP and UDP/IP socket services, FTP server functions, SMTP mail transmission, and FINS (Factory Interface Network Service) communications. This unit enables flexible integration of CJ-series PLCs with host computers, HMIs, and other Ethernet devices, making it suitable for factory automation and process control systems.

This product has been discontinued by Omron. Production is scheduled to end on March 31, 2027. Orders are no longer being accepted as of March 2025. The recommended replacement is the CJ1W-EIP21S EtherNet/IP unit. This product remains available for maintaining existing installations while supplies last.
