The Original New Omron CJ1W-IC101 is an I/O Control Unit for the SYSMAC CJ series programmable logic controller (PLC) platform, designed to enable system expansion beyond the CPU rack. When one or more expansion racks are required, this unit must be mounted directly to the right of the CPU unit on the CPU rack. It connects to the CJ1W-II101 I/O Interface Unit on each expansion rack via CS1W-CN[][]3 series expansion cables. This unit is the essential link for expanding I/O capacity, supporting up to three expansion racks per system. It is compatible with CJ1, CJ2, and NJ series CPU units.

• The I/O Control Unit must be mounted directly to the right of the CPU Unit. Mounting in any other location may cause faulty operation.

• One I/O Control Unit is required on the CPU rack when connecting one or more expansion racks.

• One I/O Interface Unit (CJ1W-II101) is required on each expansion rack.

• Connect the I/O Control Unit to the I/O Interface Unit using CS1W-CN[][]3 expansion connecting cables.
