The Original New Omron CP1W-CIF11 is a serial communication option board designed to add RS-422A/485 interface capability to compatible Omron CP series PLC CPU units. Installed in either Option Board slot of CP1H, CP1L, CP1E, and CJ2M-CPU3x controllers, this non-isolated board supports both 4-wire RS-422A for long-distance point-to-point communication and 2-wire RS-485 for multi-drop networks up to 32 stations. It supports Host Link, NT Link (1:N), Serial PLC Link, Serial Gateway, Modbus-RTU, and No-protocol modes. Powered directly from the PLC; no external power required. Non-isolated design provides a maximum transmission distance of 50 m.
