The Original New Omron NX-SOD400 is a 4-point safety output unit for the NX series I/O system, designed for SIL 3 (IEC 61508) and PLe / Category 4 (ISO 13849-1) safety applications. It provides 4 PNP (sourcing) safety outputs rated at 0.5 A per point with a maximum of 2.0 A per unit, and features screwless push-in terminals for tool‑free wiring. As part of the NX series safety I/O system, it supports Free-Run refreshing and is compatible with NX-series EtherCAT Couplers and Safety CPU units for integrated safety control in machine automation. The unit can be freely allocated in any combination with standard NX I/O.
