SICK DFS60B incremental encoder with 60 mm diameter, customer‑programmable pulses per revolution (resolution) up to 10,000 PPR. The actual PPR is set at the factory to the required value between 1 and 10,000 before delivery. For the‑S4PM10000 model, the 10 mm solid shaft is equipped with a flat face, a 36 mm clamping flange and a 5 m shielded 8‑wire cable. Output driver and signal levels are factory‑set for TTL (5 V) as standard; the unit can alternatively be programmed for HTL (10 … 30 V) push‑pull. A 90° electrically gated index pulse is included. Aluminium housing rated IP65 (shaft side) / IP67 (cable side). Supply voltage range 4.5 … 32 V DC. Power consumption ≤ 0.7 W. Operating temperature –30 °C … +100 °C and shock resistance 70 g qualify the encoder for use in harsh industrial environments.
