The Original New SICK VTF18-4P1240 (6012831) is a cylindrical photoelectric proximity sensor from the V18 series, designed for reliable object detection using background suppression technology. It detects objects within a maximum sensing range of 3 mm to 100 mm (3 mm to 90 mm rated), delivering consistent performance independent of object colour or background interference. The sensor features an infrared LED light source and a visible red light spot of Ø 3 mm at 50 mm for precise alignment. Housed in a rugged nickel-plated brass M18 × 1 threaded barrel rated IP67, the sensor provides a PNP output with selectable light/dark switching and is adjusted via a 270° potentiometer. A 4-pin M12 male connector is provided for standard industrial connectivity.
