The Original New SICK WTB8-P2231 (6033209) is a miniature photoelectric proximity sensor from the W8 series, designed for reliable object detection using background suppression technology. It delivers stable, colour-independent switching across a sensing range of 30 mm to 300 mm (rated 40 mm to 300 mm), with a visible red LED light source producing a Ø 20 mm light spot at 300 mm for straightforward alignment. Housed in a compact 11 × 31 × 20 mm ABS enclosure rated IP67, the sensor provides a PNP output with selectable light/dark switching and is adjusted via a 4-turn potentiometer. A stainless steel mounting bracket (BEF-W100-A) is included.
